as far as I know, MSDN has 10 license per key & you can use the same key to install to 10 PC, so how about TechNet? one key = one license?
The activation for MSDN and Technet are the same. However, the meaning of the license are different. The license of Technet is for you (all PC under your name) to evaluate the software, but no time limit. MSDN are for you to develop and test software.
For both MSDN or Technet. You will get a key per product. This key may activate up to 10 PC. When you have used up all 10 activations, you can request a replacement key if the subscription is still valid. After you requested the replacement key, the old key wil become invalid.
When the subscription expired, you cannot request any more replacement key, however, the last key on hand can still be use until all activations are used up.
As told by M$, the software for download in Technet and MSDN are the same as the retail version except for the license which is for you to evaluate or software development respectively.
