The inner box, outer box and most of the packaging material including the hard foam altogether are 1047g

The machine itself is ~1kg

The power adapter and cable are plugged in and I'm too lazy to unplug and weigh them.

So together I'd say about 2kg something and the 5lb figure looks right.
