I also downloaded the Smart Network from Sony UK website, but I'm wondering which WWAN driver and Connection Manager are you using?  Where did you d/l it from?  Not sure if the problem was caused by Smart Network or by the WWAN Connection Manager itself?  I downloaded the Connection Manager (program with driver included) from Option.com since I couldn't find it under Sony UK website.

I use 2.3 + Option Software, which is ok, but need to start WWAN and GPS together

i got the disc with me but dont have time to do backup and reinstall.
so time consuming!
will be free to do it after 17th april

Will await for your update.  Hopefully the supplementary disc works perfectly without the problem we have now.  It will also be great if someone can share their supplementary disc if it really works for someone like me who don't have the upgrade kit from Sony yet.

I am sure it will work with an upgrade disc. I have no single problem using it so far. I am not in HK, so couldn't help for the disc. I am sure someone in hk get it. So good luck!

Thx!  In fact, I'm asking my French colleague to order the upgrade kit for me and hope I'll receive it soon.
