Yes yes, I did that. Replaced the battery at the end of the 3rd year. It should be fine for another 3 years ... a total of 6 years 😅

Not to mention, I have also got a new display panel 😁

As mentioned, 3 years of warranty is very important (to me).

Wah 15.6" also using built-in battery 😳. (my HP is 11.6" only)

Anyway, you should be able to DIY ...

that is exactly the case of my another laptop, lenovo E series.  the battery was dead right after warranty expiry (1 yr only).  Now i'm "長插住火牛用" 😒 (dont want to spend extra cost for that ancient model)

well, that lenovo E series (a very old model) has an external battery, but getting a new battery is not justified (relatively expensive😡). I prefer using AC power only😁
