You know what, I can't believe Sony HK just launched the P45, but the CPU is back to 1.86GHZ, while every other specs remain unchanged. The funny thing is they are selling 7980!!

So definitely  our p29 is really a good deal comparing the p45..

I think through the UK vaio website... but not 100% sure. Need to ask mouseman Ching on that!

go to the sony website. select Europe (in the map), then follow the link, and fill in the info. I don't know whether they will ship it to hk or not. If you have problem to send it back to hk via Sony, then you can ship it to me. I could send it back to you from UK. Of course you need to pay me the postage. Hope this helps.

should be ok, someone had said here that he received the disc within a week (sony said that it may take up to 3 weeks for delivery, but we all know that it will usually take less time than that)

Think you only need to match the model number and pay an you shall get the disc, the problem is that it took me over 7 hours to restore and install my P15

Thanks for the info. I did a clean install and only took 1.5 hrs to set up everything using the HK vaio upgrade disc

So that's why I said earlier I (or other members) go to the uk or global sony website for an upgrade. The Italian model will not work in HK, I have tried it before. Who wants to pay 20 pounds if it can be done by 15 US dollars. But then again, 20 pounds is way too cheap for a Windows 7 Professional upgrade disc, isn't it?!
