That's not what I'm concerned.  What I want to figure out is why at the same hours, mobile LTE hotspot is much much much faster than PCCW+wifi router (connecting via wifi or LAN) for running Xiaomi Box.  I'm not referring to the speed of the source or streaming.  Obviously it's the problem with either PCCW or wifi router setting.

我试过用iPhone 5s做 wifi hotspot 分 "3" 4G LTE signal 出黎

我証實樓上果位師兄講既野係岩既..pccw 陳豪入屋500m 開頭好順， 到米盒果d hit左後就慢到56k 不如， 唔試都知佢明顯做過野， 用pccw 4g lte 連就無事...左block 右block搞到我開youtube 都慢..頂佢唔順滿合約仲要加我幾十%價..即時過檔..全部問題自動全fix

But in my case, everything else is working perfectly fine woe ... I'm using 1000M optical fiber.  Speedtest still shows 900+Mbps up & down.  Running BT client at 10Mb/s+ (depending on the sources).  If that is the case, it means PCCW is able to "see" what I'm running and limit the speed specifically when the signal goes to Xiaomi Box?  Is there a way to "mask or hide" Xiaomi Box, so that PCCW doesn't "see" it?

Sorry for my ignorance, but can you share how ISP knows what "device" is behind the router, and thus control data flow specifically to that device?  Thanks.
