不過超重要的都係十幾廿十GB
相對重要的, 我都放咗USB, nas, nas-copy-backup

其實放兩大cloud (google/onedrive) 都好穩陣

有咩問題？我用Hyper Backup去另一NAS, set有一個月check一次integrity.  So far都full resto ...

Have used hyper backup for nearly a year with scheduled daily backup and weekly integrity check.  One day, the integrity check failed (in the middle of the check process) for unknown reason.  Manually retried to check the files again and the result was the same, failed.  As such, I have assumed all backup files (nearly 2TB) were unreliable/unusable!   



The software and hardware environment were intact, source and target hdds were normal
things were absolutely normal (except that integrity check failure).  I will not spend time to investigate what caused the failure (backup process died, integrity check died, or else).  And I will no longer using this tool (死一次就夠了).

BTW, 其實有沒有3rd tool 可做integrity check? ...

To clarify, i've stopped using S記 hyper backup, pls check 63#

That hyper backup was my 2nd backup copy.  My first backup copy is ... using a dedicated Windows client running scheduled FreeFileSync in mirror mode with verify on.  It works for years and there was never any doubt!
