Did work perfectly before, but since Ubuntu/Mint 14.04 it crashes after install with a black screen at login - reboots by itself and hangs at EFI.

My advice - stay away from AMD A-series FM2 APUs and motherboards, and especially MSI FM2-A55M-E33 in combination with AMD A4-5300 APU. Perhaps it is kernel incompatible or something.

Go for an all Intel setup instead, perhaps with NVIDIA graphics. Works out of the box, less grief compared to AMD which in my experience is all about grief and regret...

    I have tried 3 Debian distros including Mint, Ubuntu and  Parrot Linux.

尤其用EFI boot更嚴重, arch linux, linux mint都唔得, 但 FreeBSD, NetBSD就無事。
