Strange it is the first time I am hearing of this.

I have bought many items from USA and had it shipped to me in Hong Kong and my billing and mailing address is not the same.   Never had anyone call me to verify.

Google must have got alot of people buying the phone from overseas.  They are going to call each and every custsomer?  That means it may take 2 to 3 weeks to receive the phone.

I ordered mine just last night so that means I should expect to receive mine in February?

Yes, Paypal would be a better option for International Buyers.

I find it funny that they are going to call all the international customers.   It wastes time and not to forget that Google will have a huge phone bill to pay.  Lol!
