Not AISIN, but I have 2 identical Subaru turbo cars with CVT:
same year, same model, one silver one white.
Factory owner's manual says Lifetime CVTF.
Dealer said change CVTF every 20,000km because HK model is different, and we have harsher environment than Middle East sandstorm, 40*C desert or -20*C winter, poor petrol quality and worst traffic jam.
I changed the CVTF on the silver one , but did not change the white one.
Before change, they all make the "gung" sound and kick when shifting from D into R or R into D.
No funny noise or kick after change.
I also have a Toyota Hybrid.
Owner's manual said CHECK AT 100,000. Dealer said no instruction for change.
I changed myself at 80,000 and 120,000.
At 80,000 the fluid was black ink. Hybrid motor was much quieter after change.
At 120,000 the fluid was clear pink. No difference after change.
I also have a Benz.
Owner's manual said Sealed Unit with Lifetime Fluid.
I changed at 15,000 and I felt much faster shifts.
I also have a some MT cars.
I feel smoother shifts even change at 3,000. |
