係，system memory check , 應該係 check 晒internal 4gb 同外加之 16gb

A bit troublesome.  

I think :
1. adding 4GB of any brand should be stable (of course using synology ram is rest assured)
2. adding 8GB, problem may or may not occur
3. adding 16GB, whether or not receiving warning msg during startup, the system is indeed unstable

i don’t think add 16gb is unstable. my system is running for a week ago with lots file moving, uploaded 50k photos to moment and process . Also started for 20 BT download mission, its stable run.

But i don’t know the why the memory test will cause me so trouble now as i never run this even in original 4gb

以前見過I915 chipset配3GB RAM(2GB上限), 或Thinkpad X200/X201配16GB RAM(8GB上限)
正常開機使用冇事
一用到超出上限就藍畫面

Well it makes sense!  Intel website states that the J4125 max. memory size is 8GB.  As such, (theoretically) when 920+'s memory utilization is more than 8GB, system would become unstable (might crash)

If 8GB ram is not enough, may be we should use things like 1816+, 1819+, etc. ... coz C3538 (server grade cpu) supports a max. of 256GB ram. Btw, S NAS can only support up to 32GB

Intel以往都有試過報細數既
以J3455為例, 雖然聲稱max 8GB, 但係已經好多師兄證明左8GB x 2 = 16GB係work既 (TS-453B / TS-453Bmini)
至於今次DS-920+配J4125係唔係咁就唔敢講
