It is not a simple task, I think no NAS support this

    本身行緊RAID 1, 即係有兩隻IDENTICAL 既碟啦, 正常做法我諗都會係隊冧一隻, 抄所有FILES 過新FORMAT DISK, 咁就有第一隻SINGLE, 再冧埋另一隻原RAID 1 DISK 佢, 好自然有另一隻新SINGLE.....

yes, you cannot simply plug-in a untouched RAID1 member to the NAS, it will complaint degraded RAID

must destroy the RAID first

But I already set as RAID 0,  since I plan to do backup some where already.

RAID0 is another story, since each disk is holding incomplete data, you must do the backup first

If I have backup, to me RAID 0 is more useful than RAID 1
