well, this TF700 does support 9GB file. I haven't checked which file system it has though.

Actually, even my TF201's internal supports files > 4G, I don't know the file system either, but my TF201 can accept 6G files from PC to the internal via MTP.

Why would it take you 2 hrs to transfer a 9G file? My 6G file transfer just took about 10 mins.

U can copy large file to internal disk, how about copy file to MicroSD card though TF201?

I used samba thru wifi to transfer 9GB file. That took two hours.

I am in Ubuntu 12.04 now. Maybe that's why MTP can't transfer 9GB file. It could transfer smaller files but that too is very slow. Not sure if it is Ubuntu broken or the I/O issue. It can be the former because MTP is not supported by default. I need to set up fuse to enable it.

One more question, when you connect the TF700 to external LCD TV, can you turn off the internal LCD and then output the display to the external LCD TV only? I always use my laptop to play and output 1080P or 720P to external LCD TV.
