琴日試左緊黎做，部touchpad 即刻爽左，唔會成日lag 下lag 下，不過我冇超頻..各位師兄可以試試 
Install Preware
Click the globe icon under the plus and minus in Quick Install.
Under the Applications tab, click in the search box and type: Preware
Then press enter and click the “Install” button.
Your Touchpad will now install Preware.
Having said that, let’s get right to the instructions. Make sure to follow each step precisely and accurately for the intended results. Click after the break to begin.

Patch the operating system
Overclock the Touchpad
System Update
Update WebOS to Version 3.0.2
Navigate to the “Settings” tab of your application tray
Click the present icon labeled “System Updates”
Click to update your Touchpad to 3.0.2. If you read “Your device is up to date,” then you can skip to the next step.
Set Logging to Minimal
Run the “Phone & Video Calls” application on your HP Touchpad
Click on the upper left “Dialpad” tab within the application
Dial “##5647#” (##LOGS$)
Press the call button
Click “Clear Logs”
Click “Change Logging Levels…”
Click “Set Logging to Minimal”

Enter Developer Mode
Connect the HP Touchpad to your computer via the USB cable from the box.
For best results, use the USB ports on the backside of the computer. Front ports often neglect power standards that affect performance.
When the “USB Drive” menu pops up, click “Close.” Do not enter “USB Drive” mode.
If you are on “USB Drive” mode and/or see a large USB icon on the Touchpad screen, dismount the HP Touchpad via your computer. Navigate to your drives display on the computer, right click, and left click “Eject.”
Click the “Just type…” box at the top of the home screen.
Launch Dev Mode
Type the following phrase exactly:
webos20090606
Click to launch “Developer Mode”
In the “Developer Mode” window, toggle the switch in the upper right corner from “OFF” to “ON.”
Do not enter a password on the “Developer Mode Password” screen. Instead, leave the form blank and press “Submit.”

Install HP webOS Quick Install
Install Java or verify installation
You may already have Java installed. Simply click the link above to verify the installation.
Download HP webOS Quick Install (v4.2.3) (more)

Open the .jar with Java
The program will prompt you to install the Novacom driver, follow the installation until it is successful.
You should now see “HP Touchpad” in the “Device” drop down at the top right of WebOS Quick Install
If your “HP Touchpad” doesn’t show up on Quick Install, restart your computer, ensure you are not in USB Drive mode, and try alternate USB ports.

Click the globe icon under the plus and minus in Quick Install.

Your Touchpad will now install Preware.

Patch the Operating System
Run the Preware application on your HP Touchpad.
Read the tips and then click “Ok, I’ve read this. Let’s continue…”
You can click “Yes” on the FileType Association prompt if you’d like to associate Preware with .ipk files.
Click the “Preware” with the down arrow at the top left of the Touchpad
Press “Manage Feeds”
Scroll to the bottom under “New Feed” and add the following feeds (leave “Is Compressed” as “Yes”):
Name: webos-testing-all
URL: http://ipkg.preware.org/feeds/webos-internals/testing/all
Name: webos-testing-armv7
URL: http://ipkg.preware.org/feeds/webos-internals/testing/armv7
Name: webos-kernels-testing
URL: http://preware.is.awesome.com/
Restart the device
Hold down the power button, then click “Shut Down”
Wait for the device to power off
Press and hold the power button until you see the HP logo
Run the Preware application on your HP Touchpad
Click the “Preware” with the down arrow at the top left of the Touchpad
Click “Update Feeds”
Click “Available Packages”
Click “Patch”
Click “All”
To install a patch, click it, then click “Install”
The device may prompt you to restart Luna. You can click “Later” each time and then finally click “Okay” to restart on the last installation.
Install the following patches as you feel fit:
Advanced Reset Options
Faster Card Animations Hyper Version
Increase Touch Sensitivity and Smoothness 10
Muffle System Logging
Removed Dropped Packet Logging
Unset CFQ IO Scheduler
Unthrottle Download Manager
Press the back button and navigate to “Utilities” in Preware.
Install the following utility:
EOM Overlord Monitoring
Overclock the Touchpad
Run the Preware application on your HP Touchpad
Click “Available Packages”
Click “Kernel”
Click “Experimental”
Before moving on, read the rules for using experimental kernels (click here)
Click “F15C Eagle (TouchPad)”
Click “Install”
Press “OK” to restart your device. Do not leave this task until later. You must immediately restart.
Use Govnah to Configure the Overclock
Run the Preware application on your HP Touchpad
Click “Available Packages”
Click “Applications”
Click “System Utilities”
Install “Govnah”
Launch “Govnah”
Click “Ok, I’ve read this. Let’s continue…”
You can modify the CPU overclock settings in this application.
If you aren’t an expert, do not mess with overclock settings.
Unsafe settings can permanently damage your hardware. |
