Anyway, XT1 is a bit too expensive and the 18-55 is too bulky.

I always think 20 1.7 is one of the sharpest lens in M43 syetem. It is even sharper than 25 1.4. However, the rendering of 20 1.7 is a bit artificial and distortion when compared with 25 1.4. There is really some magic in 25 1.4 and 15 1.7 that makes me really like them. So I settle with 25 1.4 + 15 1.7 combo.

20 1.7 is really a good lens. i owned a few copies (I & II) and they all excellent!

Yes. 30mm vs 50mm is a huge diff, so I own both of them

I have used 14, 17 and 20, and I like 20>17>=14

20 color is more solid and saturated when pair up with EM5 except there is bending issue when ISO past 6400

the PQ of 17 is good but not excellence. However, the focus speed and focal length is very versatile

the PQ of 14 is similar to 17. I will also consider 12-32 if you consider 14

In my book, most of the pana prime lens are very good. For oly, may be only 45mm and 75mm are worth buying.

I'm using GM1 with 12-32 F3.5-5.6.  It's one of the best kit lens ever made by Pan.  The PQ (at the wide end) is on par with prime (when talking about F4, for instance).

I will acquire the 25 1.4 if I were you, although its a bit big on GM1
Now 25 1.4 2nd hand price is around $2300. it is a steal!

14 and even 17 is redundant if you have 12-32

20 (II) and Oly 45 pair with GM1 look good too!

I am talking about Oly 17 1.8. I used it extensively in Japan with 12-50mm and it was a better choice compared with the kit zoom
