Noise Ninja probably does a better job than most in camera NR. The thing is when NR is high the lost of details will be more. It happens with all cameras, although some performs better than others. If it works at ISO 3200 it is already very good.
Also, initials is right. Noise will be more obvious in dark and underexposed areas. Properly exposed area will have less noise. I explained that in another post earlier.
Bird photos usually have more noise because a lot of birders apply a high dose of USM to give more apparent sharpness to the feather. They do not care too much for noise. |
