OCZ has suggested to do secure erase under linux as there maybe problem for toolbox under windows
I think it may worth a try if you are not planning to go to local dealer to exchange another drive

睇咗ocz forum下個星期有新firmware 等埋再試都未遲

我昨天都用Linux幫我隻V3 Max IOPS 120GB先做SE, 再up做2.08後重裝Windows 7 64 bit SP1, 無裝Intel RST 驅動, 開機6小時後BSOD.
我的電腦 Asus P8P67 Deluxe, SATA行AHCI, V3 Max IOPS Hot plug Enabled, 設定電源為高效能和硬碟不睡眠.

This 4th generation firmware should be the same firmware as Adata 511
So far no report of BSOD or disappear in bios for 511

Too bad
I have discovered few days ago that one of my PC still got BSOD without OCZ drive!
Even with the onboard Li battery changed
Lastly found to have poorly fitted ram which needed very much force to push in to lock and click
Such mistake just happened on and off
