First things first: Wow. You guys killed it.

But didn’t you say some people had duplicate orders?
As you read above, there were a number of duplicated transactions that have been cancelled. This means there are a handful of headphones that are currently unspoken for. However, way more than a handful of people encountered issues with checking out.
In order to objectively allocate these units our engineers have gone through the website logs to determine the order that users hit the “Join” button beginning at the 6 a.m. PT launch time. Starting today, we are going to email those users and give them a chance to join the drop. Based on their response, we will continue to work our way down the list (in chronological order) until all of the headphones have been allocated.
