見台灣有人用"竹快指"開聲稱"零"傷痕喎,
不過我都係打算過幾日去apple cs 俾兩舊水佢做算囉,
起碼唔會影響保養麻.

After replacing the mac mini with a new hard disk, power up the mac mini and insert the OSX disk comes with it.  It will start booting from the DVD-writer into Mac OSX.
Once you get to the desktop, there is a disk utility for you to format disk and begin to install Mac OSx from disk to hard drive.
Had upgraded my previous generation of mac mini from 80G to a 500G hard disk followed by installing XP through Bootcamp.

Towards the bottom of the page, there are Quicktime video to teach you step-by-step.
Came across the chopstick technique but still wonder how to insert the chopstick in the hair-line crack at the bottom.  I bought a $5 metal putty knife from Ap Lei Street and a 150 (?) sandpaper to sharpen the putty knife as mentioned in the video. Once the putty knife is sharpend, it is easy to insert through the hair-line crack at the bottom.  Rest is overcoming the psychological barrier to bend the putty knife outward until you here the "cracking sound" when the hooks of the upper case loosening from the bottom part of the mac mini.  Rest is a piece of cake.  I did upgraded my ram from 1G to 4G and the hard disk from 80G to 500G all in one shot.  SSP has shop to do the upgrade for you for $300.  or Pay $10 to buy the putty knife and sandpaper to DIY.
