    禁就冇咩分別，如有內部交換data 就 。
我試過用左bridge後入去ds211拿date時真的很慢得果15-20MB/s
左轉用switch mode就同直線冇分別有98MB/s 仲快過USB過data

whether PC is on another bridge (e.g. WAN bridge) (Case 1) or another port on the same bridge (e.g. LAN bridge) (Case 2)

1) PC -> WAN bridge -> RB450G -> LAN bridge --> DS211
or
2) PC -> LAN bridge -> RB450G -> LAN bridge (another port) --> DS211

If it is case 2, of cause you should not use 2 ethernet ports on the same bridge to connect to 2 equipment, you should use another ethernet switch to do so or set both ports in switch mode.

What I recommended is to use bridge as case 1 . (please see my post on the port assignment in bridge)

I only connect both ethernet ports in the same bridge to an ethernet switch as trunking and fail-over operation.

    Synology DS211 non raid 如行raid應該可穩定地全程90-100MB/s DL (not Mb/s , Mbps)
部機有256MB Ram + 1.6CPU
Seagate 2T ST2000DL003-9VT1 x 2 non raid

官方數據可到DL 108.41MB/s

    其實我有Test 的不過 一用wan就=NAT 不用多試
1）PC -> WAN bridge -> RB450G -> LAN bridge --> DS211
14-20MB/s  100%CPU
or
2) PC -> LAN bridge -> RB450G -> LAN bridge (another port) --> DS211
14-23MB/s 5-20%CPU
