I am using DS109, I just set the port forwarding :

http(TCP80)....etc

the speed is still hopelessly slow :(

are you using 300NH too?

pls see photos:







could you kindly advice what to set to get max. speed?

I am using G300NH too.

It is no use to forward port 80 for BT. Port 80 is for photo station & web station only.

Instead, you should:
1) login synology and check the port number of BT you set (default port setting is 6881 ~ 6890 for firmware v2.0.1-3.0401 and onward).
2) login buffalo G300NH & port forward the above port numbers, both TCP & UDP, to you Synology diskstation IP.

BTW, in your captured photo attached, I assumed that you have fixed the IP of your synology diskstation to IP 192.168.11.3

Dolpli hing, yes, I fixed the IP to xxx.3.   I will try your method tonight.  I think 300NH will be netter than my old TPLINK, just my setting is wrong.  I am using PCCW30m, is it possible to have DL speed more than 2.5mb?  Via my old TPLINK , the DS109 had a max. DL speed of 2.5mb, will this be improved by correct setting og 300NH?

I set the MTU od DS109 to 9000(default 1500), do I have to set the router  to accept this ?  if my SqueezeBox and media player(which will read/stream music/video files from the DS109) has 100LAN only, will it be benefited by the 9000MTU of the DS109?

最有用都係呢個WOL (Wake-on-LAN)功能, 可以remote接入隻router, 再call PC起身.
不過呢個"Network Service List"既page, 時時都load唔完整, 出左d html code出來.
你地有無咁既情況?

另一方面  ip_conntrack: table full, dropping packet. 搵左POST 話係TCP/IP DISABLE 左個NETBIOS, 我都係唔得, 係咪我攪錯?

I am not sure but is the upload for netvigator 30M plan limited to 10M?

BTW, I use 18M PCCW (upload only 1M) and HKBN bb100 (upload about 100M). I noticed that the amount of bandwidth for upload will affect the rate of download.

I think you should try to adjust the bandwidth for upload/download in your Synology download station to test the optimum speed.

I tried the port forward 6881-6890, seems working, wait and see, and will report later.  The synologyDS109 bandwith should be set in the "network" of the DS manager, right, I enable jumbo rate and set MTU at 9000, am I doing right?
