Originally I had an openvpn server at home use Asus WL-500W (dd-wrt firmware), and used about 1/2 yr without any problem (Shenzhen office/hotel thru port 1194 to HK home), however, the router died last Tuesday and up to now, it cannot be unbricked by any common method, so I am deciding to buy a new router.
I saw Zyxel NBG-460N today and plan to buy a new vpn router (without dd-wrt), but I am not sure if it can work by means of point-to-site connection. If it is very complicate, I will buy another one Asus WL-500GP or 500W, and restore the old configuration (as least cheaper router).

Before Asus WL-500W dead, I could connect without problem for whole day. Maybe the easiest way is to buy a new Asus or Linksys WRT54GL and flash dd-wrt.

Exactly, but Linksys WRT54GL have 8M flash for openvpn dd-wrt version? or which version you installed? (mega one?)
