When I entered via PuTTY "hexdump -C -n 256 -s 128 /root/mmcblk0p2" (to look for CN as you explained)

the result was
hexdump: /root/mmcblk0p2: No such file or directory
hexdump: stdin: Bad file descriptor

It seems the firmware, partition or file has been altered. :(

I downgraded the GL firmware to 4.6.2 and CN is seen. :)

Following your instructions, CN -> US success! After upgrade to 4.8.2, stays at US.

Cudy TR3000 256MB v1 大陆 stock firmware 就可以 WireGuard VPN to HK 回家

以前用它的 VPN 直接不太熟悉，发现 VPN Policy=VPN kill switch 就可以大陆看 YouTube，WhatsApp。

在下面把 Windows WireGuard client 放入 text file，叫 wg.cfg，Configuration file=wg.cfg，VPN Policy=VPN kill switch。

还有使用 PPTP 方法都可以。

Cudy TR3000 256MB v1 from stock firmware converted to Kwrt

在原有 stock firmware 里，怎样转 Kwrt (OpenWrt)?

因为 Cudy TR3000 256MB v1 在 OpenWrt 和 ImmortalWrt 里只用 snapshot，还有里面使用 apk，而不是 opkg，而 Kwrt 可以用 opkg 的，现在下面以 Kwrt 为例。而至于 OpenWrt 什么时候出 release 版，到时候再说。
