now can reach 45-50MB/s
(my hdd is no raid, so maybe raid hdd can be even faster
and i am using onboard gigalan only)

however the bt is still affecting viewing web page

原來機過機可以去到 45MB/s
冇諗過隻dvbviewer齋睇電視, 唔錄影, 唔開timeshift
都會咁大影響
熄左dvbviewer可以去到 45MB/s, 比20MB/s好好多"

如果gigabit都機過機有40-50MByte/s成績其實都唔錯呀
45x8=360Mbit/s 啦

asimo, 請問45mb/s是用咩hdd 做test?

Write: WD 640GB AAKS SATA II/16MB
Read: WD 500GB ABYS SATA II/16MB
File tested: 5 GB TV recording ts format file

actually I don't know how to set Jumbo frame, I will experiment it in this weekend

I will also try teaming the 2 onboard gigalan (P5Q deluxe) to see if there is any improvements

another test i want to do is try to use the ram drive (gavotte) to transfer the file,
then it should eliminate the bottleneck of my hdd and can test more accurately

老實, Gigalan + usb (for NAS/BT)暫時除左佢真係唔係太多選擇
PCI 個隻太貴 ($899), out of my budget
不過都真係希望佢快d出新firmware解決BT既問題
