咁又唔係咁睇, baseband唔係愈細愈好

只不過Intel同級baseband慢Qualcomm就夠笑死人, 仲要因為接baseban ...

其實唔單單係細嘅問題 ( 5G Baseline Computation Power 已經多 4G 幾倍 ), 而係 Modem 部份需要用 Analog Node 問題. TSMC 係呢一方面絕對係全世界第一. 唔係因為佢嘅技術特別出眾或者先進, 而係因為佢啲 customer 要做太多testing. 成套 Ecosystem Design Tools 準備晒喺度. 所以就算理論上 GF 12FX 應該比 7nm 更加適合製造 Modem, 仍然都係冇人選用佢. 因為其他軟件唔齊. CEVA, Synopsys IP Blueprint 全部都係 TSMC First. 講喺 Ecosystem, Samsung Foundry 比起 Intel Custom Foundry 上面努力同埋爭取 N 倍.  

Intel 收購左 Infineon, 足足用咗七年時間先 Port 到去佢哋去自己個 Custom Foundry. 而家足足比三代嘅時間俾 Intel. 佢都證明唔到自己有能力同 Qualcomm 爭長短. 都唔知究竟係 Intel Foundry 出現問題, 定係佢哋 Design Team 出現問題 ( 無啦啦轉用 x86 Internal 我都覺得佢哋係 Culture 問題 ).

iPhone 好似有限速 ? 咁你知唔知點解要限速? 佢用緊邊隻Modem限速? 佢比緊乜嘢 IPR 錢限速 ?

佢用 Qualcomm 都慢過其他人 ?

你又知唔知自己講緊乜嘢 ?

成日冇料扮四條. 學人哋講唔夠 Capacity 但係自己連 Costing 同埋 yielding 都唔識. Intel 外國鐵粉 witken 盲撐都仲有技術成份可言.
