    I see.Well you can set your firewall to block it send your data.Or modify data let it send to bypass must be online limit.
ps:Interface generally will be http or https,can be mod!

I tried an old model of Midea about 2 years  ago, but I switch off the router to test what happens off line. Therefore I have no idea how to configure the firewall to block the data. You need to register on the website and download the apps APK file (I remember it is not https website at that time )as manual instructed. After installing the app, you can control the robot by you phone. but  I can verify the apps use https or not.

If you do not connect to internet,  it can only be controlled  with the buttons on it, you can only set the timer (30min/2 hours) to turn off, and bounce back when hit the objects. All the advance functions like auto-homing, map creation and routing are unavailable.

I hear that the other brands now use https site to register and apps installation from Google play, but not sure Midea is the same or not now .
