and vertex barely hits 160mb/s write either

Samsung 一D都唔好。。。。。 佢 Random 個邊成績都幾差..

If you use a SSD for the OS drive, sequential read write is not the first priority to be concerned.

It is really 70-80MB max
but consider if you runs a os/software, the thing which matter you the most is 4k random read/write
x25-m 2gen is having like 35/50MB read write on a single 4k thread
and 150/50MB on 64 threads, where barefoot(ocz vertex) only does 10/20 and 50/20

btw, the one u post is x25-m 1gen not the 2gen

yes you 're right, it is a good product if you use to act as a os drive. But the only weak point is the seq. write speed if u use it as a backup drive.
Because this post same that the max. write speed is similar compare with the 1st gen, so I only post the link that show the 1st gen's test.(there are very little post about 2 gen)
