ARM is just the company which develop the ARM architecture. After that, companies who are interested in the architecture can license it and fine-tune it for their own system.

nV Tegra enemies are Samsung's Hummingbird (uses PowerVR's GPU), Qualcomm's Snapdragon (uses ATi's GPU), TI's OMAP (unknown, prolly PowerVR) and Apple's A4 (uses PowerVR's GPU).

KY Ho is just more subtle and conservative. Does not mean he is not innovative. Radeon 8500 already has Truform (The predecessor of Tessellation). And after ATi bought ArtX, ATi finally have the talent to compete with nV.

一個慘字形容NV, tegra 2 support 1080, 8 個core 幾勁冇用架, 未有好OS support , 攪咁多仲未有機出街

ARM 又話出A15, 快舊款幾倍, 咁tegra 2 同tegra 3 有咩可以贏TI Qual samsung 呀???

賣俾廠要設計簡單, 平, 工能多但係貴有咩用??

對 VGA 真正有貢獻既係 3Dfx,
係佢將 compiler 引入 display SDK

ATI 當年出 All-in-wonder 同 PC2TV 系, 都係算得上將高階野下放~
