I meant by retarded is the discussion of which is better
Each has their strengths and flaws, I'm just sick of
"Omg, Ati/Nvidia is better cause of this this and this"
and
"Omg, yours fails because of this this and this"
but fail to factor in each cards strengths and flaws on top of the purpose of the card
I mean, I'm a gamer, and my display cards are for gaming
Ati runs a game at 60 frames and Nvidia runs the same game with 70 frames
Nvidia fans go "Omg~ Ati sucks!" Like seriously, who gives a shit
Nvidia runs a certain game at 15% faster than Ati with fermi
Ati fans go "Omg~ only 15% increase with that much more power and heat"
Again, who gives a shit, that 15% may be crucial to get comfortable fps to be playable
Anyone get my point now? it's doesn't matter which is better, just which ever fits the needs
I'm just tired of people trying to idolize a certain brand name and stomp other brands
Yes Ati has driver problems, Yes Nvidia has power/heat issues
It's all down to which ever you can handle
Personally I hate driver problems, but I have the money to pay for watercooling
So I choose 480 as my main graphics card
Previously I didn't have a job, so I couldn't pay for the extra bills and watercooling
So I choose a 5850, but I had to live with the driver problems
There isn't which is better since there is no perfect brand out there to out do other companies
It is all down to personal preferences
it's just annoying to see endless retarded arguments
when none of the brands are even perfect |
