Use 3rd party flight planner to calculate fuel by putting in payload, route and weather. 3rd party flight planner can also generate the flight plan for P3d to load into the GPS system of the aircraft without FMC. Or;
You can use default flight planner to put all way point for route, departure and arrival procedures. But you won't able to know how much fuel you need unless you use the fuel calculator of a particular aircraft.
Runway & Gate for departure has no actual function on FMC.
Runway on arrival is important because FMC can manage the ILS/VOR DME frequency for interception.
For non-FMC aircraft, just put in the ILS/VOR DME frequency on NAV1 |
