I find one issue. At first, MT300 is quoted 120 dB/mW. It is incorrect on the unit (typing mistake ?). It should be dB/V.
On the box, it is written 105 dB (= 120 dB/V at 32 ohm). I think it is the correct value of MT300 sensitivity.
At 32 ohm,
120 dB/mW = 135 dB/V (It is a super high sensitivity spec. Most headphones cannot attain this value. Only premium headphones using real static drivers can)
105 dB/mW = 120 dB/V (This value is more realistic. Many headphones can do this)
Someone can ask Senfer to correct the spec. unit on Taobao page. Every 3 dB means a double of sound pressure per volt. The difference is too big (especially on small signal playback). Manufacturer should be more serious on the spec. quoted. |
