Simply put, you're just lazy and lame...
No offence, but this kind of automation is the most dangerous possible
Think you can plug in and let the automation (scripts etc.) back up (or mirror) everything? What if something goes wrong and you end up with possibly corrupted files overwriting the good ones...??
I haven't experienced that, but I know someone close to me who've experienced just that
It takes time to manually back up files, but since the operator is in the process, he/she can screen anything iffy during the process, and stop the queue if necessary

That's actually a safety precaution, with the assumption that files from the source computer being the most important/original and the cleanest |
