HKBN 2GB Plan 想用返自已 Router

有技術問題想請教各師兄, 現用 HKBN 1GB x 2 plan, single fiber 入, 用跟嚟 Vtech Tilgin Router with Huawei SmartAX MA5671A, 請問一下, 現是否買如: Taobao "伯纳斯BNS-1F2.5G-E2.5G", 再把 MA5671A 從 Tilgin Router 取出，再插到 SFP+ Media Converter 之後於 Router 的 WAN 設定 HKBN predefine 的 VLAN ID 即可, 如果是的話, 是否可用 有SFP+ 的 switch, 分2组 HKBN predenfien VLAN ID加到到不同 Switch port 即可, 多謝各位師兄回覆。

Router WAN no need to set VLAN; Router WAN port will get Public IP directly.

Thank Ching, My HKBN broadband plan has a single fiber with 1G x 2 bandwidth. According to the router provided by HKBN, the on-site technician mentioned that Port 1 and Port 4 are for 1G line 1 and 1G line 2 respectively. If I remove the Huawei SmartAX MA5671A SFP+ module from router and directly plug the module into an SFP+ managed switch, how can I get the 1G x 2 bandwidth to work? any Ching's have suggestions?

Currently I am using 2000mbps plan with the HKBN HomeGateway(Vtech Tilgin Router with Huawei GPON SFP ONU).
but i dont use their home gateway and use the ONU to get public IP directly.
And my network setup as per below:

HKBN will reply DHCP request on the default native VLAN
Hope you can get some idea from my setup.

好奇問吓，咁setup有咩好處，rb5009後面的node可以做到internet failover嗎？

liutim1127 Ching, Thank you very much for your detailed diagram, I have successfully connected the Huawei GPON SFP+ to a multi-gigabit switch (layer 2+) supporting 1/2.5/10G. Through this switch, I also directly connected to the 2.5G port of the Synology AX6600 and obtained a public IP address via DHCP. On the other side, I'm using the Asus AX3000 to connect to a US VPN service gateway, and also obtained a public IP address via DHCP.

Throughout this process, the VLAN settings on the switch were zero-configuration. I only needed to change the port speed from auto-negotiation to 2.5G full-duplex, and everything worked successfully.

However, I feel that the current hardware and configuration may not be able to fully optimize the performance. I may need to purchase a new Ubiquiti UDM Pro device. Do you have any other suggestions or advice to help me optimize performance and security? I think failover is useless in the single fiber HKBN service.Thank you again for your detailed guidance and effort, I really appreciate it.
