To be honest, this kind of device is 'usually' not as safe as those simple adapters.

Btw, I think the Verbatim version I'm using in 4# was a modified/upgraded one.  Used in JP, quite stable.

To my understanding (about the verbatim) :
1. "其中一組插腳插入電源，其他外露插腳亦會通電，有引致觸電危險"
There was no such "其他外露插腳".  

2. "兩款無牌子萬能蘇沒有大電流保護及過荷保護裝置"
It has fuse.  Never buying those "無牌子" electronic devices.

3. "設有英式插腳的萬能蘇如在香港使用，須通過《電氣產品(安全)規例》的安全檢測，建議當局加強監管本地生產商，確保產品符合要求。"
The "英式插腳" has been sealed.  It was not allowed to use in HK.

淘寶上面都有好多設計相同/類似嘅產品，唔知用料有無分別。

淘寶 stuff, I really doubt.  There are plenty of copycat at 淘寶!  Again, always go for popular brands.

At least, the verbatim travel charger's warranty is provided by Verbatim HK
