[外置硬碟] Mybook @ Mac & Window 兩用

以前試過用 exFAT Format 開頭好開心 Mac & Window 都可以用到, 但試過可能個Wd Mybook 2TB
過過吓 File 自己 Sleep 咗唔為意, 過咗一排拎返出黎再backup 野就發現隻hard disk load 到好慢(load一兩分鐘先見到d file), 所以唔太知關唔關 exFAT Format 事整壞咗隻硬碟

請問如 Mac & Window 兩用大家會如何 Format 隻 Wd Mybook 8TB 硬碟?
新買回家係咪嚮 Window 轉做 GPT 先用就可以用, 要不要再搞其他野?

Problem with exFAT is that if the partition is corrupted or whatever it will lock itself into read only
To unlock it you'll have to run chkdsk /f

AFAIK Mac supports GPT long ago

If you want Mac/Winblows compatibility then you may consider NTFS while installing NTFS drivers under Mac
