firefox + flash = slow + lag

i am using firefox (6) + flashplugin (10.3), but the preformance is very slow, especially on tvb or some china web site. plugin-containe eat alot of cpu power, even if plugin is disable, then firefox use a lot of power too. any c-hing has the same experience or solution ?

what graphics card?
what graphics driver?
OS CPU architecture (64bit OS) ?  
32bit flashplugin?

arch 64 update to date.
atom 330 + nvidia 9300.
flashplugin-beta.

try all in 32 bits system with similar result.

tested with G+ games.

try disabling hardware decoding
edit /etc/adobe/mms.cfg

---     EnableLinuxHWVideoDecode=1
+++  #EnableLinuxHWVideoDecode=1

just wondering... is it the same under Windows?  (if you still have your windows installation on your machine so to say!)

I'm asking because those Atom processor always give me an impression that it's fairly slow..... just an impression, never use one before...

atom + nvidia can play 1080i movie smoothly (about 20% cpu). kaffeine watching inew ok, but difficult on hd-jade.
