本身都知好多Printer都喺度出千.
之前用開Brother, Canon.
Brother當年$5XX平價機, 嗰時已發現佢Count住印200張就Lock機, 就算無壞都唔用得...
之後買Canon, 發現晶片記錄咗墨嘅時間, 機本身又Count住啲印嘅張數......
好早期用過HP, 啲墨太貴....

-  想問吓邊隻牌子容易揾到啲免費程式去reset count數, Canon之前都揾到(好難揾&唔Work).

- 想要有Feeder+Scanner
- 想要有Lan Print(Wifi可有可無)
- 可用代用墨、連供(官方連供都可以)
- 最重要容易揾Reset Counter(唔介意機價貴少少)

喺呢度睇咗好多Post.....都睇到而家啲品牌嘅大概情況....
- Blacklist Canon
見到Ching話Espon同Brother都幾好 , 如果呢兩隻有冇咩Model可介紹吓??

Really!  Regarding newer models of Canon ink printer, it seems there is no such (or no more) 'locking'.  We can use the ink as long as it's not drying out.  A sales person told me about that ... I think it takes time to prove

ps.  The MP520 has serviced for 9 years and dead recently.  Picked up the TS5170 thereafter.

喺呢度睇咗好多Post, 發覺近來好多部Canon都夠鐘收工.
我正正都係部Canon, 玩完, 但我好肯定佢仲未壞.
因為對上一次個Mon都仲有嘢睇, 個Mon肯定無壞到, 但而家就淨係Black Screen.
部機一定唔係物理上壞

Recently my 9 years old MP520, LCD failed (冇嘢睇), amber (error) light steady on, PC screen kept telling me the printer was offline (under some kind of maintenance service).  In consideration of its aging, getting a new model was my final move.  I've checked HP and Brothers, at the end, Canon was still my cup of tea.

epson which model ?
(I had an epson printer (before the MP520) that was died in less than 3 yrs)

Regarding the new TS5170, I've checked 細鋪 and 大鋪 (Fortress).
Fortress
- extra 2 years of extended warranty (provided by Fortress Super Cover Service, 125% of the purchase price).  As such, there will be a total of 3 yrs of warranty (包括免費上門收機及送機服務)
- two packs of 4R photo paper (20 x 2 pcs)
- with delivery service (no need for me to carry that heavy stuff)
- the price was the standard one (no discount)
細鋪
- a little bit cheaper (very little)
- no delivery service (the shop that I've checked, no such service)
- may or may not have photo paper (I did not ask anyway)

At the end, bought the printer at Fortress!

淘寶換過晶片, 換完之後啲墨Work.
但係我懷疑佢唔止Set落啲墨度, 仲Set埋落部機度, 部機Set壽命.

解完之後用多50%左右會機底漏墨
講reset呢D, brother通常較易, 因為機入面禁掣搞掂

我部Canon就係都未用到漏墨嘅情況, 本來想救番, 但個Mon都冇嘢睇都唔知點救
早期Brother好似真係易啲, 但近期無用過.

廢墨滿左會有error message, PC都show出黎

I've compared the price (and other factors) on 細舖, Fortress and Canon online store.

"啲嘢Markup晒個Price"
The price at Fortress is the same as Canon online store (完全冇嘢送), no further markup, at least.  

"多2年保養, 可能真係有, 但係我不嬲都唔信Fortress, 奸奸哋"
Regarding that 2 yrs of extended warranty, I can tell you that I've 'enjoyed' such service before.  I've a Samsung 7" tablet with 2 yrs of extended warranty, replaced the whole unit at Samsung service center at the end of year 3, 100% free of charge.  And the customer service of the Fortress extended warranty section was very good (估唔到).

To be honest, that 2 yrs of extended warranty would be 'very useful' if the unit has anything wrong after the first year.

For my model, the price difference between 細舖 and Fortress is minimal.  As such, I will sure choosing that '2 yrs of extended warranty'.

Tried (at shop) to see if I can carry it, it was too heavy (to me).  Delivery service is a must.

Actually I don't print photos.  I've a few packs of 4R/3R photo paper not being used (have been there for say, 10 years already).  As such, the extra 'gift' is deemed useless ... 可有可無

So, the reasons for buying at 大舖 (eg. fortress):
1. extra 2 years of extended warranty (T&C is exactly the same as year 1 provided by Canon, and of course "包括免費上門收機及送機服務")
2. delivery service

Anyway, I have bought printers at 細舖 ... when I was still young
