Here are the specs.

Intel i7 2600K CPU
Adata 8GB PC-1600 C9 (2x 4GB)
Zotac Z68-ITX Wifi
Gigabyte Geforce GTX 560 OC
Adata 120GB S511 SSD SATA3 (Drive C)
Western Digital 1TB 1002FAEX Cavier Black SATA3 (Drive D)
Pioneer 219LBK SATA 24X DVD-R/RW
Antec TruePower 550W (Cable Management)
Lian Li PC-Q08B Tower Case
Windows 7 Ultimate

I changed the 2 Lian Li case fans to Silverstone 14 cm and 12cm fans.

For CPU cooling I am using the Cooler Master Vortex Plus

I had to build a system that fit the space that I had for my old Shuttle system.

Check out my TV Console.    My new mini system fits perfectly at the bottom right hand side.  There is still enought space at the back of the case and the left side is perfectly open for the ventilation.



On top of the computer is my 3D Blu-Ray play and next to it is my Keyboard and Mouse.  

Here is a closer look of my mini Keyboard and mouse which I use while sitting comfortably on my sofa.

Do you guys think that the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 560 OC is good enough for gaming with my Samsung 46" 3DTV?   What is the max resolution I can play games comfortably before the games get to be unplayable?

Nice.   What is your system config?

You planning to use the CPU also as a GPU or are you going to add a separate display card?

I personally felt that the Intel HD Graphics 3000 is not up to the job playing games with my 46" TV.  So I added the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 560 OC.  I only wonder if it is good enough.   I have been out of the PC scene for a long time and the salesman at the shop suggested me to get it.

WOW, (W) 148 x (H) 360 x (D) 439 mm

It's just thinner, but much taller and longer then Q08

My 2nd PC's TXM-353 is also much small than this RC360 in volume
(W) 140 (H) 260 (D) 455

I believe it was less than $900.  I bought it last year.   It has been with me for a while.   You can get it from Shum Shui Po.

It can be used with PS3, too.

The CPu, Case and GPU temp is not that bad in the Lian Li PC Q08.

The cooling fans in the case are doing a decent job.

Here are the CPU, case and GPu temperature readings right after running the above game benchmarks.

I thought I saw some overlcocking options in the bios but since I am not bothered too much I didn't care much of what was there for overclocking.  I think moving from Intel Core2Duo 2.66Ghz to Intel i7 2600K is pretty okay upgrade.   

Anyway don't get so upset with the lack of overclocking options.   I believe this review shows the Intel i5 overclocked to 4.5Ghz.  with this cheap motherboard Zotac Z68-ITX wifi.

YOu have to admit that is is not that bad for a tiny motherboard.

    if you don't RAID or overclock, there is no difference but as you use SSD, Z68 may perform a little better.

I test the system with one more benchmark and it really tested the new system.   Kind of makes me feel that I made a wrong choice with my display card.  Lol!!!

Last week I changed the Gigabyte Geforc GTX 560 OC at the shop to a slightly faster card because I needed a card that can play games at 1920 x 1080 with max settings at a good frame rate.  

So I got the MSI Geforce GTX 560 Ti Hawk

Well worth the $450 price difference.

Games are also running more smoothly at 1920 x 1080 max settings.    Not the best but good enough for my itx system.

Only complaint about the MSI Geforce GTX 560 Ti Hawk is that the fans are loud when playing games or when the GPU is running at full load.

Yesterday I bought the Nvidia 3DTV Play and now I can play games in 3D with my Samsung 46" 3DTV with Samsung's 3D Glasses.   It is excellent!!!

I you have a 3DTV, then you don't have to buy the 3D Vision Kit from Nvidia.  All you need is to buy the software from Nvidia which costs US $40.00   You can then use your 3DTV and it's own 3D glasses.
