It is confusing on what to do.
Milestone supports HSDPA 10.1Mbps while Nexus One supports only 7.2Mbps HSDPA
Milestone has hardware keyboard while Nexus one doesn't
Milestone has multitouch while Nexus One doesn't
Nexus One has a faster processor compared to Milestone
Nexus One has OLED display which is better
Both phones are nearly the same price. However with Milestone you can get local warranty which is always going to be good.
Also if you are planning on signing a contract for unlimited data plan then Smartone can give you Milestone for free. So you can enjoy HSDPA service 10.1Mbps so websites will load faster compared to when using 7.2Mbps service.

A: It’s inaccurate to say Google designed the phone (points to HTC CEO). [Google] is just merchandising it online. Everybody will get 2.1 when it’s open source, within a couple of days.

I am thinking what I should do. Should I burn cash on the Nexus One or the Milestone?
I am disappointed that the Nexus one only supports HSDPA 7.2 Mbps.
However, I am also thinking if the Milestone which supports HSDPA 10.1Mbps is really that much faster compared to phones which support only 7.2Mbps.
I know the Milestone has the same processor as the Palm Pre and the iPHone 3G.

Wifi drains battery faster compared to HSDPA.

Oh I see. I switch phones every other month. So I resell my phones very very fast. I don't like having 2 phones with me. Also I don't like using the same phone for long.
Anyway, I am still confused between Milstone and Nexus One.
I want to ask Smartone if their download speed will really be 10.1Mbps if used with Milestone.
I may ask them to let me compare the Milestone download speed compared to the HTC Hero which support speeds of only 7.2Mbps. I want to check out the website loading speed and the Youtube performance at HQ setting.

小弟用左兩年幾2g iphone, 諗緊換機好耐
初頭係milestone, 不過佢先出英文版, 我淨係識用速成, 仲一定要kb有倉頡碼果隻
諗住等中文版, 中途又殺出nexus one, 睇demo上engadget拉上拉落比milestone順好多
milestone拉到有圖時窒窒下, 如果milestone中文版出唔到倉頡碼kb,
就只剩低crystal talk同nexus one鬥, 咁我可能會揀nexus one, 橫掂有kb等於冇用(對我來講)
但moto仲有一部sholes黎緊, 一樣冇實體kb, 仲有kodak 8mp + xenon flash
咁即係又唔使買住....等等等 真係寂寞到夜深

有個感覺就係,其實2.0好似係一個測試版,好過度性質,係一個為造出2.1俾nexus one既測試版咁!

This can be fixed in Android 2.0.1/2.1
and you can use Lime to type 速成... and nexus one don't even have keyboard!!
If you don't need keyboard, want faster CPU, AMOLED screen and lighter, go for nexus one.
I want CT, keyboard and multi touch so I will stay with Milestone

Nexus 同 Milestone 的 RAM / ROM 有無分別？依家用Milestone用左好storage install SW 得番50MB左右！

追求效能 > NexusOne
真講電話 > Milestone
好似我之前用HD鍾意佢大mon加高效，睇片玩game係好呀... 誰不知個"電話"其差
所以milestone一出即轉
