As I need to build a server for my friend's company, which server you would choose?
I did tried to install Ubuntu 14.04-1 on a box configured with RAID 1. However, it has a bug that makes you could not install any box with RAID or LVM.
Haven't try CentOS 7 yet.
Any ching has any suggestion?

of coz centos. Centos has better support as user base is larger.

Agree, especially if some visitors/customers are oversea.
And don't need to pay a lot for the initial hardware purchasing.

centos7@LVM 係明顯最順的+易install 的＠intel on board raid.. ...

intel on board raid是不是fake raid,
fake raid 不要用, 炒機好麻煩
要raid 可以 mdadm soft raid,
performance 無問題, restore 有保證
