只係VOLVO個款唔得香港人鍾意
  
但係VOLVO既車喺香港街道都好容易見到......
現時各間巴士公司,有過千部VOLVO巴士日日喺街度載客

what i found from the internet as below:

Average fuel consumption 39.1 MPG and average CO2 output 190.6 g/km (based on 1730 models).

honda: http://www.car-emissions.com/cars/model/HONDA
Average fuel consumption 40.6 MPG and average CO2 output 176.6 g/km

不過宜家D Volvo車架好似唔係自己design...
係同FORD share platform...
就好似V40咁, 望落係咪好似Mazda 3S Hatchback? 仲有Ford Focus?
因為大家都係FORD C1 Platform...

係 Shared Platform, 但 Ford, Mazda, Volov 各自保留自己特色同技術,
e.g. Volvo 既安全技術, Mazda Skyactiv...etc.
同埋 Volvo 再唔係 Ford 了....

以前有一些時間D廠佬 OK LIKE VOLVO 的. 現在香港重有多少廠佬, 有一聽見吉利也怕怕啦(其實又冇乜關). 現在也是雙B吧.

自己也用過 VOLVO S70 (就是因為老爸買的, 他就是廠佬). 冇出事死火WOR, 就是冷氣SO SO, 同重唔夠力. 修理至大問題, 好貴下, 個中心又遠(已前在觀塘, 現在好像是油塘 TIM).

Most volvo cars are bigger and more luxury than Honda cars.

Anyway I also did some research in case people want to see:
Volvo S80 vs Lexus ES
11.7km/L vs 10.5km/L avg
Of course the S80 has slightly lower hp, but most people regard them as similar.

XC60 vs RS350 vs RDX
11.7km/L vs 9.2km/L vs 9.7km/L avg
Again, S80 has slightly lower hp, but still, they are compared together very often.

S60 vs IS250 vs TSX
11.8km/L vs 11.1km/L vs 11km/L

While Japanese cars get similar numbers to Volvo in mfr tests,
European cars with turbo engines will have a very good fuel econ in testing car usage environments due to their rich low torque.

Take my own experience as example:
My Nissan only do 5.6km/L, while my BMW does >9km/L at even faster speed,
same driver (me), same route, same speed and same departure time.

通常話咩o野牌子既車易壞、難整既人，通常都係無擁有過呢隻牌子車，通常都係聽人講既。富豪料就去旺角黑布街華X買啦，佢D料仲多紳寶。壞唔壞就睇吓識唔識保養啦，講要拖既，雙B都拖唔少(雖然街有好多雙B行緊)。我知香港都有Volvo Club，不過低調到比SAAB Club更低調o者。

I am driving a Volvo XC90 V8 now!

Before that I had a MB S500, and then 2 BMW 750.

The Volvo is not so bad as a big family sedan and, since I am getting older and I need to go to China very often, the Volvo is a good choice for me.  It will do 800+km on one tank travelling at 100-110km/h, and my average is about 12.5L/100km (70% highway).  Its acceleration is OK and cornering is not so bad (I have the optional sports suspension/tyres) and yes, I miss the raw power of the BM's V12!

A few months ago I was hit by a taxi in Happy Valley.  He didn't stop at the yield sign coming out from the hosiptal.  I had slight damage to my left front bumper (didn't feel the impact inside the car) but the taxi was bounced back about 10ft with broken radiator and engine block!

The repair cost of Volvo is very high in Hong Kong though.  I think the dealer makes money not be selling cars but by selling parts.  e.g. a front headlight is $25,000, bumper with mount is $70,000, catalytic onvertor is $60,000 etc!

我揸99年Volvo S40 ,05年買入時已行74000km，當時唔知上手車主有冇撥少個里，所以返嚟即刻比車房換cam帶bearing偈油，揸到而家都是換偈油迫力皮電池車呔呢D損耗品冷氣超凍

I have around 230,000 km and the engine is still running strong.  I change motor oil every 10,000 km and service  the car regularly.

My mileage was maybe 7-80% freeway, and at 100km the engine is just ticking at 1,500 rpm or so, so not much stress.  

I like the engine, its low end torque is really quick good and it likes to revvvvvv...
