Hummer and Saab will either sold.. if no buyer... then the brand will be gone (even Saab Europe)
Saturn will just die in 2011

and soon enough GM "should" go under....

Both GM and Saturn dealers have a vested interest in keeping the brand alive. According to GM CEO Rick Wagoner, "[Saturn has] a good distribution network. If someone comes up with an offer, we're very open to that."

講真GM應該執左佢啦...就咁留番Chevy算數
佢成日又話要搵人救, 浪費哂tax payers d 錢

Don't resurface disk...

The cost to do a disk re-surface range from US$30 and up...

you can buy a OEM disk for about $10-20 more...

There is no reason to re-surface... pad + rotor is a norm replacement is most mechanics suggest here (in US...)

Hummer... they have already not once offer to sale... and no one want to buy, what is the chance someone will buy this business now.... .unless its very very clean...

Saab, Swedish gov not interested to bail out... so most likely either sold for cheap...
Saturn (sale or spin-off or phase out..) I guess its mostly phase out...

In the interim, if Saturn retailers or other investors present a plan that would allow a spin-off or sale of Saturn Distribution Corporation, GM would be open to any such possibility. If a spin-off or sale does not occur, GM plans to phase out the Saturn brand at the end of the current product lifecycle.

GM's dealer count is also projected to be further reduced, from 6,246 in 2008 to 4,700 by 2012, and to 4,100 by 2014. Most of this reduction will take place in metro and suburban markets where dealership overcapacity is most prevalent. The result will be a smaller, but healthier GM dealer network."

She said she need to have 11-14 b cash on hand to stay alive.

Now she has exactly 14b... on the bank
Time to raise hand and palm for more....

GM said she *expected* 2009 will waste 14 b.... so she ask for another 9b

wait... 14+ 9 - 14b... = 9b... that's not what she said she need 11-14b to stay? where the 2-5b go?
