...包括 MTV3300D、MTV3800D 及 MTV8000D....在 11 月 19 號港視開台之前，發佈全新韌體追加支援播放港視串流節目...將會在頻道列表中追加一個新台，令用戶只需像收看傳統數碼電視頻道一樣轉台，便可轉看港視頻道....

至於上一代甚至上兩代型號產品....著手研究兼容可行性....

    好久沒fw update

     我有 3000 & 3200D
     希望 3200D 可以啦
     用 magic tv 比 android box 方便

So, are you saying that, while recording is technically possible (with a 7000D/-mini?), things like copyright and restrictions from HKTV prevent MagicTV from deploying the recording function to end-users?

mine is 7000mini.  I think MagicTV shall provide firmware upgrade supporting HKTV to the those magic TV devices with Lan/wireless lan capability.  It's competitors in HK topset box market are using this marketing tool (support HKTV) for promotional purpose , such as "Eight"  8仔.   Act quick Magic TV!

師兄你就好啦，3200、3700同7000系列係第二代機頂盒，用同一個firmware，即係另外兩部機都好有機會睇到...... 但我部3600D同3000、3100、3700、5000系列係第一代機頂盒，最後firmware更新已經係2012年頭，應該冇可能做到了。

不負責任估計，假設video bitrate 5至10Mbps，理想環境下用802.11g既手指一定頂得順，但先決要求係手指同router唔可以隔得遠，盡量唔好隔牆，否則速度會大打折扣，正如我部行g既平版，裝HKTV後測試，o係屋企大部份位置都睇到好流暢，唯一係o係睡房床上開始窒，就因為隔左三幅牆，WIFI訊號減弱影響流暢度。

I mean that the channel input UI proves that it is a MTV7000D.  I didn't mean it was viewing component input.

The photo is indeed taken when the MTV7000D is playing back HKTV from Internet.

Since 3600D is using old SMP8635 CPU, it will not have the feature to play HKTV from Internet.

in what reason it is necessary to have on/off setting for HKTV?
Mine is 7000mini and also using Magic TV original WiFi USB.   If you need volunteer for any test.  Feel free to let me know.  Wishing you a great job to be done!

Not everyone has Internet connection to the Magic TV.  In those cases, the existence of a non-watchable channel becomes annoying, when the user presses channel up/down repeatedly to browse other channels.

Yes, non-HDD models like 3100D can be traded in for $400 discount on buying MTV3300D/3800D/8000D.

HDD models can be traded in for $700 discount on buying MTV3800D/8000D.

Please call Magic TV to confirm availability of particular models before taking it there.
