I recently upgraded my CPU and motherboard but I am still using my old video card ATI 4870 and Magic Pro Diamond HDTV card.

I reinstalled my Windows 7 and installed all the drivers. As before, I still can't watch TVB HD Jade under MCE, as it corrupts like hell. (actually better than before but still lots of decoding problems)

I tried to use DVBViewer along with PowerDVD 8 codec. I have forgotten which version of ATI driver is more stable. I am currently using 10.1 and I have experienced sudden pauses when watching TV and this pauses happens on both HD Jade and normal Jade channels.

I read the application log and it keep saying amdkmdag has erros. Any suggestions on which version of ATI driver is more stable?? I hate those sudden pauses. And it was ok when I was using my old Dual Core CPU.

Please help, thank you

Update:

After fooling around with clock speed, different versions of video drivers, TV drivers ... etc.  I changed the theme from AERO to BASIC and there are still amdkmdag error but only last 2 sec and recover instead of constant error and there is no more pauses.

MCE still unable to watch HD Jade but there is no more pauses on DVBViewer. I believe there are problems with the ATI driver / AERO theme / Renderer that causes all the amdkmdag.

Sorry about in English. It is just easier for me to type in English than in Chinese.

Anyway, I tried "Enforce Smooth Video Playback" on or off but still the same. According to DVBViewer, the TV signal is 100% full on all channels.
